Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Home, St.John.s, Rita Elizabeth (Betty)Dakins on Monday, March 4th 2024.
Predeceased by parents, Johnny and Constance Walsh, sisters, Leone and Jenny, brother Paddy; husbands, Mike Dakins and Barthly McGrath.
Leaving to mourn her only son Paul (wife Colleen), brother Wilfred (Sheila), brother-in-law, Bobby Alexander, special granddaughters Kaitlin and Kera, longtime childhood friend, Loretta Nash and extended members of the Dakins and McGrath families.
Betty loved gardening, baking and cooking her delicious Sunday dinners. She was happiest when a crowd showed up to enjoy them.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation to take place at Coombs Funeral Home, on Monday, March 11, 2024 from: 10:00-A.M.-2:00 P.M.
Funeral Service to take place at Coombs Memorial Chapel on Monday,March 11,2024 at 2:00 P.M.
Inurnment to take place at Roman Catholic Cemetery. Placentia at a later date.
