Passed peacefully on Sunday, June 14th, Albert John Northcott, age 73, at the Placentia Lions Manor. Leaving to mourn: son: Alden (Jill), daughters: Vanessa (Stuart Peterson), Glorina (Max Hickey), Jenelle (Duane Winter), grandchildren: Aidan, Ryan, Simon, Jessica and Danny, great-granddaughter, Emma, brother-in-law, Cecil Oates, and step-mother, Jennie. Also step-brothers, Graham and Berkley. Predeceased by parents, Fred and Margaret Northcott, sisters: Beatrice and Baby Glorina. Visitation at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia, on Wednesday, June 17th, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 with a service at Coombs at 4:00 also on Wednesday. Graveside service and burial of ashes to take place on Thursday, June 18th, at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Carbonear at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army of Carbonear in memory of Albert.
